Technical Notes:

When it comes to the LED lights, "watts" is sometimes misleading. In fact, "watt" does not always tell how
good a LED light is. "watt' only tell you the energy consumption of a LED light.  "lumens" tells you the
brightness. "lumens per watt ", which is also called the efficacy of a LED light, is probably what you should
look at when you compare the LED lights.

Also, the T-1 3/4 LEDs (a picture is shown below) is epoxy-encapsulated. They are designed for
decorating(typically at 20mA). They are not designed for high power use. They are not efficient if powered
at high current, in addition, the trapped heat generated from LED chip will degrade the LED, the brightness
will drop quickly over the time.

A typical 10 watt LED light
(NOT using T-1 3/4 LEDs) sells in store give 340 lumen. Meaning the light
needs to consume 10 watt energy to emit 340 lumens. The efficacy is 34 lumen/ watt. Our Star light only
consumes 5 watt, but will emit 410 lumens. It is brighter than a 10W LED light in store, yet consumes
less energy. The efficacy of our star light is 83 lumen/W. The efficacy of our bar light is 77 lumen/W.  We
had one of our bar lights tested by an independent testing lab. Their testing result is also 77 lumen/W.
