4700-lumen Single-Strip Retrofit Kit
One 4700-lumen Retrofit Kit includes a driver and one 44″ Aluminum Strip. This kit is designed to replace either Four T-12 fluorescent tubes or Two T-8 fluorescent tubes. Available color temperature are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4100K or 5000K. 4100K is recommended for office use.
9400-lumen Double-Strip Retrofit Kit
One 9400-lumen Retrofit Kit includes a driver and two 44″ Aluminum Strips. This kit is designed to replace Four T-8 fluorescent tubes. Each strip has two swivel end caps for adjusting beam angle. The beam coverage of each strip is either 90 degree or optional 120 degree with the translucent diffuser. Each Strip consumes 30W and outputs 4700 lumens, it is brighter than 2 T-8 fluorescent tubes. Available color temperature are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4100K or 5000K. 5000K is recommended for warehouse and car repair shop.
Installation for Single-Strip Retrofit Kit
- Remove the wiring compartment.
- Cut leads from the ballast to the socket housing.
- Cut leads from the ballast to the input power, leave as much length as possible for electrical connections.
- Remove ballast.
- Remove socket housing.
- Bring new driver into housing using mounting holes from old ballast. The blue and white wire on the driver is 0-10V dimming wire. If dimming will not be used, individually cap the blue wire and the white wire.
- Connect the AC side of the LED driver to the input power.
- Connect the DC negative black wire to the negative black wire of the fixture.
- Connect the DC positive red wire to the positive red wire of the fixture.
Installation for Double-Strip Retrofit Kit
- Remove the wiring compartment.
- Cut leads from the ballast to the socket housing.
- Cut leads from the ballast to the input power, leave as much length as possible for electrical connections.
- Remove ballast.
- Remove socket housing.
- Bring new driver into housing using mounting holes from old ballast. The blue and white wire on the driver is 0-10V dimming wire. If dimming will not be used, individually cap the blue wire and the white wire.
- Connect the AC side of the LED driver to the input power.
- Connect the DC side of the LED driver to the two fixture according to the wiring diagram above.
