RCHG Batteries
Our Li-ion battery does not have a memory effect (that can cause rechargeable batteries to hold less charge).
Our Li-ion battery has a self-discharge rate of around 1% per month, depending on its level of charge and the storage temperature.
There is protection circuit built into the battery to prevent overcharge. While not recommended, it is OK to leave the battery charging overnight.
When the battery voltage gets too low, it will shut off. Recharging will reactivate the battery.
The lifetime of the Li-ion battery is ~300-500 recharges. After that the battery will still work, but it cannot be fully charged as before.
Constantly dropping the battery (or a flashlight with the battery in it) may damage the battery's protection circuit. If the protection circuit is damaged the battery may not work or be able to be recharged.
We have a 1-year warranty on our Li-ion battery and wall charger.
